So for once I'm actually busy in a good way. When I got back to Denver from New York (which was lovely. I enjoyed working in theatre over break although our interterm is so awkwardly placed that I didn't see many of my friends) it was right into rehearsals for the 2 shows I'm in. Technically I'm in 3: I'm an extra in "Far Away" which goes up this week. That's been a lot of fun. I get to wear a crazy hat and look like I've been beaten up. It's pretty cool.
"OTMA" took a while to get underway as the books took forever to arrive. We're back on track now though and it's a lot of fun. Our actresses are really great. Today's our second off-book day and after this there's just one act (7 pages) to learn before we're completely off-book.
"Defying Inertia", which Jolene wrote herself, is way ahead of where I'd thought it would be. The first act, the one where I dance and am featured, is completely done as is the one after it. I am onstage the entire time so it's not like I check out for the rest of the show but knowing all I have to do for that makes it less stressful to be learning 2 (3?) shows at once.
Excuses for not writing since December? I've written in my REAL journal every day. That's a lot more rewarding for me, although probably not for anyone reading this. I didn't think anyone I knew read this except a friend of mine told me the other day that she had started. So that's pretty sweet.
